Class descriptions

HIIT

This high intensity class will challenge you to push your limits in your exercise potential. Increase your strength and endurance through intervals of hard work followed by active recovery. This class is tailored to the intermediate to advanced level due to the rigorous efforts required, but modifications can be made for all abilities. No equipment required.

Pilates/Yoga Fusion

This class combines the core sculpting of Pilates and the stretching and strength of Yoga, giving you the benefit of two classes in one. This low impact class increases strength and flexibility, leaving your body feeling toned and lengthened. An exercise mat is preferred but not required.

CXWORX

This class from LesMills is a 30-minute workout that targets the abs, hips, rotator muscles, and back to make a complete core workout for all fitness levels.  Class uses bands, weights, and a mat but can be modified for no equipment.

Fit Forever

This low-impact class for older adults is designed to give participants an aerobic workout, while also increasing strength, balance and endurance. Participants use mats for core, but instructors modify exercises to allow chairs for balance and stability.

Coordination & Balance

This class is meant for older adults to help improve the mind/body connection and increase joint stability and balance. A chair is useful to help stabilize and for seated exercises.

Chair Yoga

This yoga class is designed for those at the very beginner level of yoga. Yoga helps to increase flexibility, balance, strength, and the mind-body connection. It’s also a great stress reliever! A chair is used for seated work as well as a balance tool for standing poses.
