Lakewood issued the following announcement on Nov. 30.
Lakewood took sixth in Money magazine’s Top 10 Best Places to Retire in America for 2020 based on 47,500 separate data points from cities with populations of more than 50,000. Lakewood’s high placement was buoyed by its parks and trails, shopping and wide array of amenities for seniors such as the Clements Community Center and the Older Adult Wellness Fair.
