Wet, heavy snow is more likely than extreme cold to cause electric outages, however Xcel Energy is putting operations plans in place to ensure that crews are ready to safely restore electric service to customers as quickly as possible if weather impacts their service. If you suspect a natural gas leak, evacuate immediately, moving a safe distance away, and call 911. Xcel Energy’s Residential Customer Service line is 800-895-4999.Original source can be found here.
